Sports Day – Friday 6^th July 2012

This is just a short letter to let you know the arrangements for sports day.

All children should be dropped off at 9.00am regardless of whether it is one of their normal days to attend. Parents or carers then need to take their chairs or picnic blankets down to the field and set them up along the fence. There will be parking available in the field. Just drive down to the end of Sherrard Way and turn left. Go through the 5 bar gate.

We have arranged for Teresa (Tempest Photography) to come and take a picture of all the children together this year before we begin the races.

We aim to start by 9.45am, and the races etc will take between 1 to 1 ½ hrs. During this time your child will serve you with a small snack which he or she will have helped to prepare.

Please let us know if your child will not have an adult present.

When you have finished your snack you can take your child home.

If it is raining Sports day will be cancelled and we will run a Friday am session as normal. We will make a decision by about 8.30am, please see our website www.arknurseryschool.co.uk or give us a call if you do not have internet access. There will be someone in the nursery from 8.30am if the weather has not been kind to us.

We aim to start by 9.30am, and the races etc will take between 1 to 1 ½ hrs. During this time you will be served a small snack which the children will have prepared.

When the children have finished their races it will be time to have an early picnic lunch, giving everyone a chance to talk before the summer holidays.

Please let us know if your child who normally attends on a Monday morning will not have an adult present. To keep within our legal ratios all other children must have a parent or carer with them.

If it is raining Sports day will be cancelled and we will run normal Monday sessions. (There will not be an afternoon session unless Sports Day is cancelled.) This is the last day that the nursery will be open until Tuesday 6^th September.

Garden Working Party Postponed

The garden working party that was planned for this Saturday 4th December has now been postponed. A new date will be organised soon.
