Statement of intent

 

Aim

We aim to have a clear charging structure with terms and conditions fair to both The Ark Nursery and to the parents of the children who attend.

 

Methods

Parents are required to pay fees half-termly in advance.  Payments received more than 15 days after the invoice date will be subject to a late payment fee of 10%.

Fees may be paid weekly or monthly by special arrangement.  A half term’s notice (not including School Holidays) of withdrawal is required or fees will be liable.   Fees for holidays which are taken during term time are not refundable.

 

Parents will be asked to sign a contract on acceptance of a firm offer of a place at the school. For parents not yet eligible to claim Early Years Free Entitlement Funding a deposit of £50 will be due at this time to secure a place.  This will be offset against subsequent charges for services.

 

The Ark Nursery School is a registered nursery provider with Surrey County Council and can receive the Early Years Fee Entitlement Funding for eligible 3 and 4 year olds, for those whose parents choose to use their allocation with us.  This entitles each child to five free sessions of three hours each with us, for a set number of weeks each term.  Our sessions are three and a half hours each.  Parents of eligible children are charged for any extra time that their child attends above the three hours, and outside of the set Early Years Free Entitlement funded weeks.

 

Eligibility depends on date of birth.  Details of when your child will be eligible to receive the grant can be obtained from the office.
