Methods

The nursery is not associated with a specific religion and encourages children of any race or religion. We respect all aspects of their cultures and seize upon different traditions and festivals as a valuable shared learning experience.

We regularly celebrate the following festivals:

 

Harvest

Thanksgiving

Diwali

Hannukah

Christmas

Chinese New Year

Mother’s Day

Eid

Easter

 

In addition, should a child attend the nursery , whose family celebrate festivals other than those already stated, the nursery staff will  take this  opportunity to develop their own religious awareness , as they consult with the child’s parents about possible ways to celebrate the festival and develop awareness and respect for their faith within the nursery environment.
